Founded in 1976 by Al Wachter, Acorn Distributors has grown from a small restaurant supply house into a multi-million dollar distributor of disposable paper and plastic, janitorial supplies and equipment, chemicals, sanitary maintenance materials, and foodservice supply products. In 2005, Jennifer Rosenberg became president and 2nd generation owner of Acorn. The company maintained its family owned business status and gained its WBE certification, becoming a woman owned business. In 2007, Acorn acquired Cottingham Paper of Columbus, Ohio. Overall, both branches service multiple states with over 20 delivery vehicles.
We stock foodservice equipment and supplies such as china, glassware, silverware, kitchen smallwares, disposable containers & cutlery, tabletop items, and furniture. We also carry janitorial equipment and supplies which include towels, tissue, trash can liners, and chemicals. As a member of Network Services and Allied Buying Corporation, we are able to provide local services to national customers from our distribution centers in Indianapolis and Columbus.
